Jill and Andy Sawyers are the Tazewell Young Life leaders! They have been married and living in Tazewell for the past 20 years and have 3 beautiful children (Maddy, Jax, and Lyla) that you’ll see with them at nearly everything they do. They love raising their kids in the Tazewell community and are thankful for the opportunity to serve you and to do life with you!
Jill was born and raised in Tazewell, graduating from THS in 2001. Andy is from Bluefield and graduated from Graham in 2001 as well. They have served in various ministry roles for the past 12 years - including Youth Pastors at Life Church in Claypool Hill.
They have a heart for students and are so grateful they’ve had the opportunity to serve as Young Life leaders the last several years! God has been doing great things in Tazewell and they are excited to see the amazing things He has in store! They look forward to continuing to see students grow in their relationship with Christ and help lead them into a future with a foundation rooted in the word. Become a leader
Leaders are committed to being involved in kids' lives and demonstrating the love of Christ. From cheering them on at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's exciting to them, our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
Young Life leaders meet kids where they are, as they are. They listen to their stories and learn what's important to them because they genuinely care.

Young Life is making a difference in the lives of kids in our area because we are supported by adults who care about kids in our community. In each community, the local "committee" (composed of parents, Young Life alumni, and other supporters of the ministry) provides a foundation of financial, administrative, and moral support for the local Young Life team.
